Felton Walter was born February 17, 1956 in New Orleans Louisiana and is a product of the New Orleans Public Schools. He attended Southeastern Louisiana University from the 1976-1979 perusing a degree in business education. He later resumed his education in 2007 earning his B.S. Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, May 2010. He and his wife Melissa have been married over 40 years with two daughters and eight grandchildren and has been a resident of Slidell, Louisiana since 1993. As a former board member of the St. Tammany Parish Fire District 1, he successfully implemented a health insurance plan for retired firefighters.
Felton has worked with public entities such as the City of New Orleans and the New Orleans Aviation Board providing insurance and consulting. He assisted the City of New Orleans in establishing a supplemental retirement plan for former Superintendent of Police Richard Pennington.
Felton is and independent insurance advisor with nearly 40 years of experience and is licensed in multiple states. Additionally, he represents multiple companies with strong financial ratings. He works with individuals and families and small business owners in the areas of life insurance, retirement planning, 401K rollovers, annuities, IRA’s and SEP plans. His primary focus is on client education and his overall goal is to help families to remain in their own world through the effective use of life insurance.
